The glue tightens quickly
CAUSES
We usually understand this by comparing previous application with the same adhesive, applying another type of glue. Open working time depends mainly on weather conditions, substrate and adhesive type. Small variations in temperature can cause significant changes in the open working times given by the glue manufacturers.
Depending on temperature, humidity, air and atmospheric pressure, the glue may differ in "tightening" relative to its previous use in the same or other space. It is within the skill of the artisan to understand the amount of water to be added to the glue mix during manufacture to achieve the greatest open application time.
