CAUSES

1. Wrong estimation of expansion - contraction and formation of the expansion joint.

2. The correct grout for the width of the joint (eg fine joint for 4-5 mm joint) has not been used.

3. There is no proper depth of fit.

4. The sealing material adheres to both the sides and the bottom.

5. No primer was used on absorbent tiles.
